Part #4 Matthew 5-7 (Finding The Gospels in The Weekly Torah Portions)
Abraham, The Blessing of owning a Camel can teach us Biblical Hermeneutics 101! Language, Language, Language! AS we have been learning, to understand the scriptures we should know something about the language and culture that they are written in. Step 1 of any serious Bible study, is the study the Hebrew language. Virtually all of the Bible was either written or thought in Hebrew. The Hebrew alphabet is unique in that each letter is a picture symbol which is a visual representation of the ideas suggested by them. There are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. Each letter is also a number. The numerical values range from 1 to 400. Truth demands total accuracy from start to finish. For centuries Jewish scholars and rabbis have searched the words of Holy Scripture in great detail. As we’ll learn in this teaching video, each letter contains important information about our Lord Jesus.
