Whatever one thinks of the cannabis plant, no employer in America is forbidden from drug testing workers if they’re not fans. But most when polled oppose legal punishment for marijuana use - even among Republicans - and 80% support using the plant for medicinal purposes. Recreational Marijuana is legal in almost a quarter of the states, and medical cannabis is normal health care now in all, but a dozen states. Federally, it’s been removed
as a Drug War target at the DEA.

So, what does the science say about medical cannabis? Perhaps more important, for Mr. Paul, anyway, is how physicians and other medical professionals can competently add new technologies to the clinic without lowering standards or falling into legal jeopardy.
