The Slaying of The Lamb wasn't The End of The Story, on The Contrary, It is Just The Beginning! It was The 14th Day of 1st Month on which it was Commanded That The Passover Lamb was to Offered! Before The Real Lamb of God was offered (Jesus), He warns His disciples that they will be scattered according to the prophecy in (Zechariah 13:7):
Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, against the man who is close to me!" declares the LORD Almighty. "Strike She Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones."
On the 15th day of the month of Nissan, the LORD'S Festival of Unleavened Bread begins. The Festival is a seven-day festival commemorating the Exodus from Egypt. The first and last day of the Festival are special Sabbaths and days of assembly. We know that the first day celebrates the anniversary of the Exodus. It was on that day that the plague of the firstborn smote Egypt and the Israelites were given leave to go. But Now that we’re ‘Delivered’, What Do We Do Now With Our Freedom?
